State of Georgia Validation Update for Possible Stoke Field

The state of Georgia has implemented an update to the reporting validations, which includes the following new rules:

  1. New Rule 5012: Possible Stroke (itExam.088) is required for all patients v3.5 | WARNING level, -1 point.

If the response to the field "Possible Stroke" located in Custom Elements under the name "Possible Stroke Overall" is "YES," then rules regulating the responses to other fields described below will apply:

  1. New Rule 5013: Stroke/CVA Symptoms Resolved (eExam.21) is required for all possible stroke patients v3.5 | WARNING level, -1 point.
    1. Revisions: new rule added to flag on ALL possible stroke patients.
  2. New Rule 5016: Date/Time Last Known Well (eSituation.18) is required for all possible stroke patients v3.5 | WARNING level, -1 point.
    1. Revisions: new rule added to flag on ALL possible stroke patients.
  3. New Rule 5017: Stroke Scale Type (eVitals.30) is required for all stroke patients v3.5 | WARNING level, -1 point.
  1. New Rule 5018: Stroke Scale Score (eVitals.29) is required for all stroke patients v3.5 | WARNING level, -1 point.
  1. New Rule 5019: Stroke Severity Score (itVitals.096) is required for all stroke patients v3.5 | WARNING level, -1 point.
    1. Revisions: new rule added to flag on ALL possible stroke patients.
These changes took effect immediately.
